For motion experiments in two dimensions. The Air Table has a working surface of 820x520mm which allows various circular pucks to float on an air cushion under almost frictionless conditions. A bumper surrounds the working area while a perimeter channel allows the fitting of various attachments. Overall surface 870x565mm. Requires an air source like the LB0115-002 (above). Contains: Air Table with carry handle; air inlet hose and elbow; centre pivot to allow cord to pass through the table; two small magnetic pucks; four small and four large pucks with load washers and elastic or non-elastic edges; foam filler pads; velcro bands; screws and pins for all pucks; angular acceleration attachment with pivot pin; four coil springs; adjustable feet; screws; nuts and elastic bands. Air
Track - Brand New Version - IEC
An Air Track provides an air cushion allowing motion experiments to be easily and accurately performed with almost no frictional errors. An anodised aluminium air tube is generally supported on an optional sturdy sub-base. Kits with gliders, and numerous attachments are provided to cover a large range of experiments. Attachments and gliders relate to a special weight system, so that for many experiments a weighing balance is unnecessary. The various experimental parameters may be permanently recorded using the optional spark recording system or by using a strobe lamp and camera, (not supplied). With a comprehensive instruction book.
