| Amplifier A high sensitivity amplifier which can take an input of 1 to 10 micro amps and amplify it to a value that can be read on a bench meter or multimeter. A current of 10µA will be amplified to approximately 1mA. Low input impedance allows use with extremely low voltages. Used with this amplifier, a single turn of wire moved next to a magnet will give a reading on a 1mA meter. Handles positive or negative currents allowing use with centre zero meters. Size 120x100x40mm. Also use with Electromagnetic Induction Apparatus EM1740-001. More Info (PDF 242KB). LB0071-001 Prices for currently available products can be found on our new website: LINK |

Audio Oscillator - Signal Generator |
|
| Tri-Mode
Signal Generator Similar to the LB3754-001 above but with an inbuilt audio amplifier, speaker and power supply. The power supply gives 6 and 12 volts AC at one amp with overload protection, it also gives a metered, regulated and continuously variable voltage from +/- 1.5 to 20V DC or 3 to 40V DC at 300mA maximum. | The Wave~Lab - A 'Stereo' Audio Oscillator and Amplifier The mains powered Wave~Lab generates two very stable waves with independent frequencies and amplitudes that can be mixed or used separately. Frequency range: 0.1Hz to 40,000Hz, adjustable in steps of 0.1Hz or 1Hz. The waves' phase relationship can be varied from 0 to 360º. One wave (sine, saw tooth or triangular) can modulate the other in either Amplitude Modulation (AM) or Frequency Modulation (FM) modes. These functions and the resulting wave ‘envelopes’ are easily seen on an oscilloscope - an oscilloscope is required for full functionality. A microphone and a line socket accept external signals. High power 4 mm banana outputs can be connected to: speakers; an oscilloscope; recording timers; mechanical devices e.g. Vibrator for Vibrating Strings (SW4220-001 $117). Large LED display shows frequencies, volume and phase settings, it does NOT display the waveshapes. A separate output socket allows for the connection of a Giant Display (LB1675-001 $380.25) for classroom viewing of numeric data. Supplied with: a handbook; microphone; and headphones. The optional speakers below are recommended. More Info (PDF 451KB). LB3756-001 Prices for currently available products can be found on our new website: LINK Optional equipment:
