A solar powered balance that requires no batteries or mains adaptor. The solar cells power the balance and also charge an internal storage cell which powers the balance in bad lighting conditions. Dual ranges and resolutions of 100g @ 0.1g or 200g @ 0.2g which are automatically selected. Simple one key operation provides on/off, taring and hold functions. Auto power off. Big 140mm diameter stainless steel pan ideal for warm containers. This would have to be the most economical and convenient balance for student lab use. Calibration not required. Made in Germany. Two year warranty.
