Colour Wheel - Newton's
A well made colour wheel with 4 sets of the seven colours of the rainbow
with some white for a better result when the disc is rotating. The resultant
white is very close to perfect. The best result is obtained in daylight
rather than under fluorescent lights. The disc is made of thick plastic
and is quite sturdy. Strong metal base, stem, and handle. One of the
better imported products that we have seen. Disc diameter: 230mm.

Compasses
Oil Filled
In response to many requests we have sourced this economic oil filled compass. The compass dial is printed with luminous cardinal points. The flip up lid has a sighting slot and hairline, it also contains a mirror allowing you to easily view the compass dial. Incorporates a rotatable clear plastic plate with two luminous lines for setting a direction, referenced to North, to follow when in the dark or fog.

Orienteering

New design uses a die-cast ring with small rails for the brass, aluminium, iron and copper strips to sit on. The rails reduce thermal loss into the ring. Each metal strip has a small dimple on the outer edge to take wax or a similar substance. Mount on a tripod for heating or refer to ‘Burner, Gas & Stand’ for a stand and heat source. Coulomb Meter with Disc and 'Electronic Electroscope'
This is a fantastic product that will make gold leaf and moving vane electroscopes obsolete. To use as a traditional electroscope you leave the removable disc in place, charge a plastic rod or even a hair comb and touch the disc, the charge is instantly displayed on the LCD screen. Go away and come back and the charge is still displayed. Removing the disc allows a cable to be plugged in so that you can measure the charge on remote objects. Enables a quantifiable measurement (in nano coulombs) of charge to be measured. Use it once and you’ll never want to use your old electroscopes again! More Info (PDF 320KB).
