Current Balance
Used with the IEC air cored solenoid to investigate the forces between electric fields and a current carrying wire. The assembly clips on to the end of the air cored solenoid to provide connections and pivots. Made of a tough printed circuit board with pointer attached to indicate balance as the rider weight is adjusted. Spin free 4mm sockets. More Info (PDF 278KB).

Cylinders - Rolling
Used for momentum experiments the cylinders are made of brass and wood, both are identical in mass and size (57mm wide x 44mm dia.). Their masses are distributed differently - one has a brass inner and wood outer, the other has a wood inner and a brass outer. Their rolling characteristics can be observed. Weight 810g pair. Data Logger
A four channel, low cost data logger capable of long term display and recording of 0 to 30 volt DC signals and slow moving signals. Input voltage levels are displayed on the PC screen in real time on either a virtual digital meter or as an analogue signal on a virtual oscilloscope screen. Includes software to automatically save the input data and display it at a later time as if it was live data. Time divisions on the virtual oscilloscope screen can be from 1 second to 1000 seconds per division. Each channel can be monitored at 100 samples per second. Connects to your PC via the USB port and no additional power supply is required.
Specifications
* Four DC-coupled input channels
* Maximum samples per second: 100 (per channel)
* Sensitivity: 10mV
* Maximum input: 30V DC
