IEC Hot Plates provide a reliable source of mains powered, controlled heat for the laboratory. The heating element is recessed and bonded into the underside of the alloy plate for total thermal efficiency. A ceramic board provides insulation and baffle plates ensure that the housing remains cool even after prolonged operation with temperatures up to 400ºC. The compact housing provides good stability, controls are recessed for protection. The large top plate has a flat machined surface. Optional non stick PTFE top plates are available. The housing's durable corrosion resistant finish ensures a long life. Plate size 200 x 180mm, height 125mm.
TEMPERATURE CONTROLS AVAILABLE:
Simmerstat - provides continuous adjustment of plate temperature from warm to approx. 400ºC, but does not hold the temperature to a specific set temperature. Simmerstat control is better suited for boiling water.
Thermostat - provides continuous adjustment of plate temperature to 300ºC and holds the temperature to specific settings as selected by the control knob.

The inclined plane can be accurately set to any angle up to 45º, it has a pulley fitted at the top edge. Complete with scale. Size: 510x65mm. Two models are available.

Simple effective design to accurately measure the angle of incline. Pressing and holding down a spring loaded button allows the scale to swing free, the target is then aligned through holes in the inclinometer and the button is released to lock the scale. The angle of inclination (up to 50º either side of horizontal) is read from the one degree increment scale. More Info (PDF 232KB).

Australian made incubators finished internally in stainless steel and externally in grey PVC coated steel. The digital, microprocessor, temperature circuitry provides fine temperature control from +5 to +60ºC with control stability 0.25ºC. With chrome plated removable shelves, an optional double glazed view window or inner glass door is available. With a shelf for every position, extra shelves are for external storage only.
