HYDROGEN POWERED CAR.
The new Fuel Cell X7 hydrogen powered car kit from Thames and Kosmos has been introduced as an alternative to the original Fuel Cell Car & Experiment Kit (order code 620318) which is still available. Note: previously advertised as part code SC8508.
The X7 has been designed to be accessible to more users, both in terms of content and price. The manual focuses on building a fuel cell car, rather than the comprehensive lessons on the science of fuel cells and solar cells found in the original version. The instructions are geared toward a younger 10+ audience and the kit has been optimised for simplicity and ease of use.
The full colour 16-page manual contains easy, step-by-step instructions for assembling and using the car, as well as scientific explanations. Uses 2 AA batteries (not included) rather than a solar cell to break down the water into hydrogen and oxygen.
