ProScope HR Base Unit with 50X lens, includes ProScope HR software.
The ProScope HR is a digital USB microscopes that makes it easy to magnify and examine objects on your Macintosh or PC computer screen. They are completely powered from the computer's USB port.
Recently released the ProScope HR with its 1/4" 1.3Mp colour sensor can capture images at up to 1280x1024 pixels which more than doubles the resolution of the original ProScope USB which has a resolution of 640x480 pixels. The ProScope HR offers twice the resolution of products like the Dino Lite.
The basic ProScope HR kit (order code BD-HRB) includes the ProScope HR, a 50X lens and software.
The 50X lens is perfect for a wide variety of uses, including examining hair follicles, micro-writing on dollar notes and observing perspiration forming and evaporating on the fingertips. Additional interchangeable lenses (sold separately) provide the ProScope with tremendous versatility. Specimens are easily lit using the built-in white LED's which are part of all lenses except the BT-10.
The included software allows you to capture videos or stills in real time or with time-lapse.
The ProScope HR can be used handheld or can be mounted on a stand or tripod for high quality image or video capture to your computer.
The ProScope HR can also be attached to a traditional microscope using an optional C-mount adapter and lens tube adapter or our low cost SC6635 adapter.
Image resolution: 320x240 pixels (QVGA), 640x480 pixels (VGA) or 1280x1024 pixels (SXGA).
Movie resolution: 30fps @ 320x240 pixels, 15fps @ 640x480 pixels, 3.75fps @ 1280x1024 pixels.
Lens options: 1-10x (zoom), 30Nx, 50x, 100x, 200x and the new 400x lens (approximate magnification when displayed on a 14-inch video monitor).
Some PC's or Mac's may require a USB 2 hub in addition to the following PC or MAC requirements:
Mac: OS 10.4.8 or later Quicktime 7 or later, factory installed USB 2.0 high speed port, G4, G5 or Intel.
Windows XP Service Pack 2 or later, Quicktime 7 or later, DirectX 9 or later, factory installed USB 2.0 high speed port, P4 or equivalent.
Existing Proscope USB users: your existing ProScope lenses can be used wih the ProScope HR, to start capturing high resolution images all you need is the ProScope HR, Part Number BT-HR.
