IEC Thermocouple Simple Copper/Constantan 200ml
Order code: HL4030-001IEC SIMPLE COPPER/CONSTANTAN THERMOCOUPLE
A 200mm long piece of standard thermocouple cable insulated with high temperature glass and having the two cores welded together at the tip to make a simple 'K' type thermocouple.
The two metals are copper and constantan and when the junction between two different metals is heated, a small voltage is produced which is proportional with the temperature.
This small voltage can be used with a controller to accurately control temperature.
