VERNIER MOTION ENCODER CART UPGRADE KIT
The Motion Encoder Cart Upgrade Kit is for users of the DTS Vernier Dynamics Cart and Track System who want to add Motion Encoder capability. The kit allows the user to upgrade one existing cart to a Motion Encoder Cart and includes the MEC-BTD Vernier Motion Encoder Receiver and a METS-LONG Vernier Motion Encoder Long Track Strip.

One-time assembly requires removing a cart end cap, installing a transmitter unit underneath the cart and installing a replacement end cap.

The Motion Encoder Long Track Strip can be trimmed to fit the 1.2m dynamics track.

• Position resolution: 1mm
• Maximum useful data rate: 30Hz
• Compatible with Vernier Dynamics Cart and Track System only
• Not compatible with PASCO carts

The Motion Encoder Transmitter requires two AAA batteries (not included).
The Vernier Motion Encoder Cart Receiver requires an interface and software to function.

WARNING: The Motion Encoder Receiver is not compatible with the Texas Instruments TI-Nspire Lab Cradle. Connecting the Receiver to the Lab Cradle will render the Cradle inoperative, requiring repair by Texas Instruments.

This product replaces the MEU-VDS Vernier Motion Encoder Cart Upgrade Kit.
