A set of four plastic wheels, three gears and two axles along with rubber o-rings to use as retainers or locators for other parts. Use in STEM projects like solar cars etc as pictured.

Features:
The two small gears have a different number of teeth making them ideal for investigating how gear size affects the speed and torque of a driven gear. The small gears fit on small motors.

The larger gear fits the supplied axles. NOTE: because the gears have to drive the axles they are an extremely tight fit and require significant pressure to be applied AS CLOSE AS POSSIBLE to the hole in the gear as per the diagram on the supplied plastic bag. You may find it useful to have a block of wood or similar object with a 3mm hole in it to fit over the axle while pushing the gear onto the axle. Care should be taken to avoid the axle stabbing fingers or hands while fitting the gear.

The rubber rims can be removed from the wheels for experiments in wheel diameter and friction.
