IEC REACTION TIMER WITH DECISION FUNCTION
The unique IEC Reaction Timer measures the reaction time of a person from when a large LED lights or when a beeper sounds. The large LED can illuminate either red or green. The delay time can be initiated by a second person or by the person being tested, as there is a random and completely unpredictable time delay of between 10 and 90 seconds before the light or the beeper energises.
The IEC reaction tester can be run with LED only, with beeper only or with both LED and beeper together. It can also run as a single decision tester (light on? press button) or as a dual decision (what colour light? press which button?).
Included are two very robust remote press buttons with 4mm socket connections and 1m long press button cables which can be operated by hand or foot. Taping one of the press buttons to a wooden block creates a pedal as a fun driving reaction timer.
Ancillary Equipment not included: 240/12V AC PlugPak or classroom power supply, with a digital timer that runs when contacts are closed and stops when opened (same as LB4057-001 or similar).
