IEC ELECTRONICS AND PHOTONICS KIT
The IEC Electronics and Photonics Kit is a special panel of electronic components that enable students with minimal supervision to investigate resistors and potential dividers, capacitors and their uses, component characteristics, transistor theory and signal amplification, light modulation and data transmission using light.
The components on the panel cannot be removed or lost and a small audio amplifier with speaker is inbuilt. Set up and pack away time is less than a minute.
The panel runs from a 12V PlugPak or any 12V AC or DC power supply.
NOTE: Teacher notes and 9 experiments are provided on the optional CD EM1765-002 purchased separately.
Only one CD is required for each school.
Teachers may print and photocopy an unlimited number of copies for students or themselves.

• Main panel with all components fixed in place, including audio amplifier, speaker and volume control
• 5 x 2mm banana plug links stackable for 2mm plugs
• 2 x 2mm banana plug links stackable to 4mm plugs
• 6 x 2mm to 4mm banana plug adaptors
• 7 x 300mm long cables with 2mm stackable banana plugs each end
• Length of fibre optic cable
• Cable for connecting a radio or CD player to the panel
• Temperature sensor on probe
• LED on a probe
