MOLYMOD DNA 2 BASE PAIRS MODEL
A compact DNA model with parts to build two base pairs, Thymine-Adenine and Cytosine-Guanine with deoxyribose-phosphate side chains. When assembled the layers are supported on a small stand. The assembled model can be easily dismantled and stored in the supplied storage box for subsequent reassembly.
The representative atom parts and links for assembling the model are made from durable plastic and range from 17mm to 23mm in diameter. They are colour coded consistently with other Molymod atom models for ease of identification.
A base and stand provide support and stability for the completed model.

DNA double helix structure is more clearly demonstrated by your students assembling the MKS-122-10 10 layer DNA model which is built from five two-layer models.
As with all Molymod® molecular models, spare parts are available if required.

Spare Molymod links are available in packs of 25.
