IEC SODIUM LAMP AND POWER SUPPLY
This low cost IEC Power Supply and Sodium Lamp is a compact and self contained instrument that is an excellent sodium light source for conducting Atomic Absorption (AA) experiments with the CH3792-001 IEC Flame Emission Spectrometer. The sodium lamp can also be swapped for other spectral lamps (not included) for a variety of optical experiments.

HL3794-101 is the same Power Supply and Lamp Holder but WITHOUT a lamp.

A manually adjusted shutter is provided on the front of the chimney to block light from being emitted or to select one of the following four apertures:
• A long slot
• A large hole
• A 4.5mm hole
• A 2.5mm hole

This power supply and lamp holder provides the special electrical characteristics required to also operate any of the following:
PA3797-101 Mercury lamp
PA3797-103 Neon lamp
PA3797-104 Helium lamp

Easily replace or swap between different types of spectral lamps:
Make sure that the lamp and housing is cool then remove the four finger screws from the top cap and slide the rear panel from the 'chimney'. While holding the lamp firmly, carefully move the lamp slightly from side to side and withdraw it from the socket. The replacement spectral lamp can then be easily plugged into the lamp socket and the housing re-assembled.
