Connect a wind turbine hub to a nacelle with a drivetrain set.
The KidWind Drivetrain Set features the hex driveshaft, Hub Quick Connect, hex locks and wooden spool used in the KW-AWX Advanced Wind Experiment Kit. These materials can be very helpful if you are designing your own turbine for a science fair or classroom experiment.
The attached Hub Quick Connect makes it a breeze to interchange hubs and rotor designs on a geared or weight-lifting wind turbine.
Note: This set will NOT work with the Basic Wind Experiment Kit Weightlifter Nacelle.
