From the inventor of the Hodson Light Box comes the Hodson Makamotor. Designed to teach electromagnetism and how electric motors work. With enough parts to make 2 motors.

Each motor is individually packed (and repackable) in a plastic jar. Simple to assemble, with brushes and armatures easily made by forming the supplied wire. Once assembled the motor is sturdy, allowing storage and handling as a working unit or it can be dismantled and used again. Requires a D cell or 1 to 2 volts from a power supply. Even run it off AC by giving the rotor a starting twist!

Parts: rotors, axles, end plates, magnets, iron yokes, reels of red & black wire, instructions, storage jar & cardboard assembly sheet.
